When I go to Google and search for a keyword term, sometimes it comes back showing a number like 390,000,000 competing pages. Other times, the same keyword search shows 106,000,000 competing pages or at times even 46,000,000! All for the same keyword search. What's up with that?
I have been told the different numbers are due to the fact that Google has many different server farms. The number of competing pages shown varies depending on which server farm is being accessed. The second scam is: If they do promise to get you first page rankings for short tail keywords they neglect to say how long it will take! You could be paying them for years and get nothing of value and they just keep saying it takes a long time!
